Another amazing year for Royal Caribbean as it is awarded the coveted Travel Weekly Award for the tenth year

For the tenth year running Royal Caribbean has been named the best overall cruise line by readers of the magazine Travel Weekly.

A fantastic ceremony was held at the Plaza Hotel in New York to celebrate Royal Caribbean’s success, as the company was named “best overall cruise line” by readers of the magazine Travel Weekly.   RCI was also awarded with the Best in Sales & Services Award for an amazing fifth year running! To round this off, the company also came at the top of the US and Caribbean categories.  2012 has definitely been a fantastic year for Royal Caribbean!

How the Travel Weekly Award was drawn

For the coveted Travel Weekly Award, there were 59 categories in total, including airline, rail, car, tour, cruise and theme parks, among many others. The important decisions were made by the readers of Travel Weekly themselves who carefully considered and voted for whom they believed to be the worthy winners.

“We are honored to be chosen again as the Best Cruise Line Overall by Travel Weekly readers – now for 10 straight years…We are also grateful to the travel agent community for voting us the best in Sales & Service for a fifth year in a row. This recognition reflects our ongoing Royal is Loyal to You Always commitment, where we strive every day to better support and empower our valued travel agent partners.”

— Vicki Freed, senior vice president of Sales, Trade Support and Services, Royal Caribbean International.
