The Royal Esplanade is set to be at the centre of much of the excitement aboard the Anthem of the Seas with restaurants, bars, shops and hangout spaces flanking a beautiful central walkway. Replacing the Royal Promenade of many of the older ships of the fleet, the Royal Esplanade makes up the heartbeat of the ship.
Unique, detailed art pieces adorning the walls, ceilings and fixtures of the Royal Esplanade make it a pleasurable place to stroll through. Connecting many of the most popular features of the ship, you’ll find yourself visiting and walking through the Royal Esplanade with increasing regularity. Located on Deck 4 and 5 of the ship, and easily accessible via lifts and stairs, the Royal Esplanade has been designed to offer space and freedom moving between the ship’s popular dining, shopping and entertainment venues.
The Royal Esplanade runs from the Royal Theatre at the front of the ship all the way to the Two70 lounge in the rear. Entertainment venues which flank the Royal Esplanade include the Diamond Club & Lounge for Diamond members, a series of bars, the card room, the photo gallery and dedicated art gallery.
Providing an entertainment complex akin to a luxury strip in a major city – the Royal Esplanade really comes to life in the evening as solo travellers, couples and families look for an elegant way to end their day.
With Michael’s Genuine Pub, Sorrentos, Silk, American Icon Grill, Chops Grille, Chef’s Tables, Izumi, Wonderland, Jamie’s Italian and more flanking the Royal Esplanade, it is the perfect place to go when your tummy is rumbling. One of the Quantum Class ships’ flagship features is also close by: the Bionic Bar and its robotic bartenders making an appearance on Deck 5.
