Part of Royal Caribbean’s criteria when developing the Quantum Class of ship was to produce a more intuitive and efficient environment in which their crew can complete their duties – increasing morale and the capacity to perform to their fullest capabilities. Not only will this lead to a happy workforce, but will also reflect upon a happier atmosphere for guests to enjoy their cruise holiday.
At the centre of this push for a more intuitive work environment for the crew is a greater connectivity between team members and different teams. All crew members aboard Anthem of the Seas will have access to portable Windows tablets, giving them the opportunity to instantly connect with members of the team when they need assistance or wish to offer their own answers.
Although a crew walking around with tablet devices like the crew of the Starship Enterprise may not seem like the most personable of environments for your relaxing holiday, the instant access to important information can allow the team to personalise every guest’s holiday experience. From dietary requirements to specific medical needs, every member of the crew can personalise their services to the guest they are currently assisting or chatting to.
If you have brought your own smart phone or tablet device on board with you, then you’ll be able to download the Royal iQ app and connect with the crew. Using this app, you’ll be able to make quick and simple reservations for restaurants, spa treatments and excursions, so you won’t have to leave the comfort of your cabin for such small tasks.
Furthermore, using the app you’ll be able to make special requests and inform the crew of any requirements you or your party may have when making these reservations and enquiries.
